I am a consultant in Digital Cinema - the creation of motion pictures using film and/or digital image capture, usually digital post-production, digital mastering and distribution to theaters for exhibition via digital projection. Industry positions include secretary of SMPTE (Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers) DC28.10 Digital Cinema Mastering, and SKM (Security and Key Management); Secretary and Vice-Chair of ISDCF (Inter Society Digital Cinema Forum) and ISDCF KDM (Key Delivery Message); and Secretary of the ASC (American Society of Cinematographers) Technology Committee and DI (Digital Intermediate), Workflow, and Advanced Imaging subcommittees. Work for clients ranges from image quality, post-production, and color management, through digital cinema security, to best-practices and systems for all phases of the digital cinema process.
