Use cameras to monitor sensitive areas. Audit this data and correlate with other entries. Store for at least three months, unless otherwise restricted by law.


PCI-9.1.1: Observe that video cameras are present to monitor the entry and or exit points of data centers where cardholder data is stored or present. Video cameras should be internal to the data center or otherwise protected from tampering or disabling. Determine that the cameras are monitored and that the data from the cameras is stored for at least three months.
