DS 4.7 Distribution of the IT Continuity Plan

Control Objective:

Determine that a defined and managed distribution strategy exists to ensure that the plans are properly and securely distributed and available to appropriately authorized interested parties when and where needed. Attention should be paid to making the plans accessible under all disaster scenarios.

1. Risk: Operational failures may not be identified and resolved in an appropriate, timely manger
a. SOX.2.4.1: There should be appropriate procedures to ensure that operational failures (e.g., disk drive problems, program amends, and other emergencies) are identified, resolved in a timely manner, and, where appropriate, approved retrospectively.
