Computer case law is still developing. Therefore, when one does entertain a high-tech case, thoughts that the law is ironclad should be discarded in favor of being both more daring and creative. At the state level, this can mean searching for statutory and decisional laws, which are arguably applicable to computers even where the context is non-technical.FN74
